Tolis Tatolas was born in Greece and currently lives and works in Athens as an interdisciplinary artist. He holds BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) degrees from the Vakalo College of Art and Design/University of Derby and the Department of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki respectively. He has had plenty solo exhibitions and participated in group ones at galleries, universities and museums, in Greece, the UK, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Austria, the USA and Latvia. He has also designed the sets and costumes of numerous plays by major Greek and international playwrights (Ritsos, Genet, Sartre, Dostoyevsky, Mishima, etc.) in Athens (Megaron - The Athens Concert Hall, New Greek Theater - George Armenis, Aggelon Vima, etc.). Works of his are held in private collections in Greece and abroad (Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Japan, the UK and the USA).
